Iain Nicol.
Iain commenced working with Trethowan Architecture in 2007 whilst undertaking graduate studies at Deakin University, where he was a recipient of the Peddle Thorpe Award Scholarship, and maintained employment through graduation and beyond registration as an Architect in 2011.

Throughout his time at Trethowan, Iain has been involved in numerous projects with various architectural roles including the execution of detailed site surveys, the initiation and development of design proposals including CAD and hand drawing, the formulation of planning and building applications, and detailed design and documentation. Iain has also gained experience with working on existing buildings, some of which were heritage listed, and the integration of new buildings and extensions.

As a Registered Architect, Iain has active liaisons with clients, professional bodies, contractors and consultants on projects ranging from individual residences, multi-unit residences, institutional and heritage buildings. Iain also has extensive experience in contract administration and project management. He was extensively involved with the works at Firbank Grammar and has initiated a number of administrative procedures from his contract experience on this particular project.
