Renee Muratore.

Renee joined Trethowan Architecture in March 2013. She completed her Masters of Architecture, specializing in Conservation and Heritage in 2012. During her time at the University of Melbourne, Renee developed her skills in architectural design, history and research, leading her to complete a research paper on Salvation Army architecture and culminating in her research thesis on Demolition by Neglect.

While completing her degree, Renee worked in a heritage based architectural practice, developing experience in architectural heritage, design and conservation.  She has been involved in high level strategic heritage projects, institutional and commercial restorations & redevelopments, and the writing of building histories, conservation management plans and heritage impact statements. Renee has been very involved with both the strategic side, and the delivery of projects and is experienced in contract administration.

Outside the firm, Renee is a tutor in Australian architectural history, and a research assistant for the University of Melbourne’s Architecture department.
